Following the previous post on lavender in Provence, I found it only fitting to share the best lavender products that will ever touch your precious skin.
My best friend lives in Albuquerque at the moment, and she sent me the gift set below for my birthday back in September. All of our guests have remarked on how much they love the hand soap and lotion we leave in the bathroom.

My other favorites come from L’Occitane. The cream (for the bag) and the lotion (for the desk) are two products I always have on hand. No pun intended. :)

Wanderlust Wednesday: Provence in July

Lavender is my all time favorite. Sunflowers are pretty awesome, too. For our 5 year wedding anniversary (yes, I am already planning that far ahead!), we want to travel to France together for the first time. My husband has never seen Paris, so after a few nights there, we could then drive down to Provence, stopping along the way to savor all the sights.
I have had this link bookmarked for years. I cannot imagine anything so lovely as literally frolicking through decadent fields of lavender.
Except maybe frolicking through fields of lavender bordered by fields of sunflowers:

The closest we have come to a lavender field is the Cape Cod Lavender Farm:
While beautiful in New England, it is a far cry from the fields of France.
Summer of 2018… Paris & Provence, here we come!
